Going Mobile on the Cloud

This week we are excited to welcome guest contributor Daniza Matura from Broadband Expert.

It used to be that the only way to save a document or file on the web is through your email. The same thing as sending files to a colleague is through attaching files to email with a limited capacity. And if the file is too big, using a memory flash becomes an option. Now that wireless Internet service has become the way of connecting to the web, innovation on how to store a large file that was once the purposed of memory cards and flashes has been taken to the next level.

Why cloud computing answers business needs?

This innovation aptly named as “Cloud Computing” will let users do most of their computer activities on the web – from creating, saving and editing a document to doing an even more complicated computer tasks. Not only that it becomes useful for every individual usage, it also helps improve how business operates especially when we talk about large file storage.

Aside from small storage capacity that Cloud computing can handle, it also offers the capacity suitable for a big business operation. Businesses don’t need to put up another IT department and rooms full of servers because they can store all their data in the “Cloud”.

It also gives employees the freedom to work from home while still accessing the needed company data to perform their daily tasks. This innovation will surely cut down business expenses because of the savings that it will get from the storage space provided by a third party wherein the payment is based only on the amount that has been used.

Cloud computing complements wireless mobile Internet’s purpose

It answers the problems of most businesses by letting go of the traditional business practices especially on communication and data storage limits. It gives breathing room for more businesses to concentrate their resources on developing their product and services instead of putting more of it on their hardware infrastructures.

Cloud computing gains more grounds through mobile Internet devices

As the technology development gains more grounds as laptops, smart phones and tablets are becoming the main tools for business, cloud computing will even become more useful and relevant. Sharing company information and data with every employee anywhere they are is the best thing that wireless Internet and cloud computing can offer. The other advantage of cloud computing for business is that there is no need for a company to buy a new application that needs to run on a mobile device as information are readily available on the network.

With the wireless Internet services gaining more grounds and helps in giving people more access the Internet and as more businesses wanted to cut down their spending on hardware infrastructures, cloud computing will eventually grow surpassing and even making the traditional system of hardware base computing for most businesses become obsolete.
